Marquette, Mich.– Could preventing some waterborne illnesses be as easy as adding PVC sprinklers to municipal water tanks? What about using magnetism to remove pollutants from water?

Clever, fundamental engineering could go a long way toward preventing waterborne illness and exposure to carcinogenic substances in water, contend two Michigan Technological University researchers.
