Snyder today announced the appointment of Travis Jones, of Owosso, and the reappointment of MaryLee Davis, of East Lansing, to the Michigan Finance Authority.
Established in 2010, the seven-member Michigan Finance Authority consolidated ten public finance authorities into one body that offers effective low-cost financing to public and private agencies providing essential services to the citizens of Michigan. No more than three members may be from the same political party.
Members serve four-year terms expiring Sept. 30, 2017, and their appointments are subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
