Lt. Gov. Brian Calley will speak at an event to unveil Eastern Michigan University’s new Telehealth program. The program utilizes live video streaming that allows health care professionals to expand treatment to autistic patients who are disadvantaged or in rural locations throughout Michigan.

Gov. Rick Snyder will speak at a groundbreaking ceremony for Enstrom Helicopter Corp., a leading designer and manufacturer of helicopters. The company recently announced the $8 million expansion project, which will double the size of the existing facility and is expected to create at least 150 jobs over the next two to three years.

Snyder will give remarks at the Historic Downtown Revitalization Celebration in downtown Menominee. The gathering of citizens, job providers, and community and business leaders with developer, The Woda Group, LLC, will celebrate the beginning of a construction project at the historic Lloyd/FNT building. The mixed-use redevelopment project will eventually provide 44 apartments as well as commercial and community space. It is expected to create 66 jobs.
