LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the reappointments of Michael Swartz, of Brighton, and Matthew Howell, of Franklin, to the State Board of Accountancy.
The nine-member board oversees licensure and certification requirements for certified public accountants and public accounting firms.
“These appointees have done a great job serving this board and I am confident they will continue to do good work,” Snyder said.
Members serve four-year terms expiring June 30, 2018. Their appointments are subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
