MARQUETTE- Pete Mackin, R-Chocolay Township, will be announcing his campaign for the 109th seat of Michigan’s Houseof Representativesthis Friday. The campaignwill be traveling across the District to meet community leaders and local candidates throughout the day.

“I have been very humbled and encouraged by the support already gathering for this important race,” Mackin said. “We are blessed in the 109th District with very insightful, innovative leaders who care deeply about the community they represent. Throughout my career as a radio, print and television journalist, I researched and reported on those issues which matter most to our communities. I plan to bring to work hard to resolve those issues in Lansing.”
