Republican Press Release – Michigan Unemployment Rises to 8.6%

In June, Michigan’s unemployment rate increased for the second straight month to 8.6%, according to the Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget, as the state lost 8,000 jobs.  Yet, the President continues to push for a tax hike that will cost Michigan more than 21,000 jobs.

President (You Didn’t Build That Business) Obama has consistently demonstrated his hostility toward job creators during the last 3.5 years.  Under this Presidency, Obama’s donors and allies seem to be “doing fine,” the private sector in Michigan most certainly is not.
