Schuette, Leyton Agree on Presumptive Parole – Oct. 12

Pontiac, Michigan – October 12, 2015 – Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette and Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton today released the following statement in opposition of HB 4138, legislation calling for the implementation of presumptive parole in Michigan.

“Public safety is the first responsibility of government. Autopilot release of violent offenders is bad for our neighborhoods, cities and small towns. We cannot build a better, stronger, safer Michigan if our public safety is threatened.”
