Bay City, Michigan – October 6, 2015 – The Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) is hosting the first Mid- Michigan Waste Forum (Forum) in Bay City, Michigan. The purpose of the forum is to share information about the latest issues involving solid, hazardous and liquid waste management and sustainability, and especially targeting issues of interest in Mid-Michigan, with the goal of establishing best management practices, waste recycling and economic development.
The DEQ is interested in attracting a wide spectrum of stakeholders; including generators of hazardous and liquid waste, commercial and industrial landfill operators, recyclers, and end users of waste byproducts.
The cost of attendance is $50 but includes a continental breakfast and lunch.
This workshop qualifies for 5 Continuing Education Hours (CEHs) and 5 Professional Development Hours (PDHs).
