• In the early church, there was actually little interest in celebrating Christmas; more interest was focused on Easter until around the 1500’s
• In Massachusetts, it was one illegal to celebrate Christmas!
• In the late 1800’s, the commercialization of Christmas came into fruition.
• Remember the “reason for the season” and don’t allow yourself to feel bogged down from the message of Christmas
• That message: Generosity and Caring.
