2012 Grover Cleveland $1 Coin Cover (First Term) Available June 19

WASHINGTON – The United States Mint will begin accepting orders for the Grover Cleveland $1 Coin Cover (first term) on June 19 at noon Eastern Time (ET).  The limited-edition coin cover includes two circulating quality 2012 Grover Cleveland Presidential $1 Coins from the first day of mintage at the United States Mint – March 8, 2012, for the United States Mint at Denver and March 29, 2012, for the United States Mint at Philadelphia.  The coins are mounted on a handsome display card with a 45-cent postage stamp.

United States Mint to Release the First America the Beautiful Quarters® with the San Francisco Mint Mark on June 21

WASHINGTON – Beginning June 21 at noon Eastern Time (ET), the United States Mint will begin accepting orders for the first collectible bags and rolls containing coins bearing the “S” mint mark of the United States Mint at San Francisco.  The circulating quality coins are the first to be produced at the San Francisco facility in more than 30 years.  The “S” mint mark quarters will not be released into circulation.  The first bags and rolls released will contain America the Beautiful Quarters® coins honoring Puerto Rico’s El Yunque National Forest, the first quarter released in 2012.

United States Mint to Release 2012 Star-Spangled Banner Bicentennial Silver Dollar Set on June 1

WASHINGTON – The United States Mint will open sales for the 2012 Star-Spangled Banner Bicentennial Silver Dollar Set on June 1 at noon Eastern Time (ET).  The limited-edition set contains a proof quality Star-Spangled Banner Silver Dollar, a reproduction of one of Francis Scott Key’s original manuscripts of his poem “The Star-Spangled Banner,” the full lyrics to the “Star-Spangled Banner,” and information about our national anthem against colorful artwork depicting the battle between U.S. and British forces for Fort McHenry, Maryland.  Mintage is limited to 50,000 sets.
