HOPE IT ALL WORKED FOR YOU!
Well, hopefully, you were able to get everything you wanted to get today if you were out doing the crazy Black Friday dance! Don’t get me wrong, I am supportive of people spending money and bolstering the economy both locally and nationally, but judging from the traffic and lines of shoppers here at the original Marquette Mall and other store this morning around Marquette County prior to 6-am, YOU ALL’S CRAZY!!! But as I said on the show this morning, if it worked for you and you got some great deals, then more power to you. It’s just not my bag, man. Now, let’s enjoy a peaceful Holiday season over the next month or so and take the time to remember what’s really important: Friends, family and getting along with each other.
JUST ONE MORE SIGN OF OVERCONSUMPTION.
On this day of ridiculous shopping and typical Western consumption, we brought you the story of this hamburger that has been unleashed upon the world by Burger King in New Zealand. This 1000-calorie number called the “Quad Stacker” features four burger patties, five layers of cheese and, of course, bacon!! It has 68 grams of fat in one burger. Yes, nutritionists are calling it an absolutely obscene amount of fat to consume at any time. Yes, I am surprised Burger King rolled it out in New Zealand and not here on American soil, and no, I don’t doubt the it tastes ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!! NOMNOMNOMNOM!!!
HAVE A FUN WEEKEND!
Hey gang! Have a fun weekend, eat some leftover turkey and enjoy the time you have with friends and family! OH! And be sure to laugh out loud way too much and we’ll catch up with you here on the blog next week!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

WQXO – AM 1400, along with two hour Morning Show in 2010 and new community radio initiative has been discussing having a 1/2-hour, weekly show designed, written, hosted, and run by Munising High School Students about local school and community interests, broadcast weekly on WQXO in Munising. Volunteer reporters for local meetings and organization coverage also has been discussed. Does this idea have any appeal?
