We’ve been having fun with this…. Brooms are standing by themselves!! Lots of fun. Major Discount showed us this with his broom and I thought he was pulling our legs or there was something special with the one he brought in. So we grabbed a couple more and it WORKED!!! Needless to say we had lots of fun making people stop here in the mall and take pictures of their own to marvel at.
It only happens every once and a while…

SPOTLIGHT ARTIST OF THE DAY: JUSTIN MOORE
Justin Moore was born and raised in Poyen, Ark. One set of his grandparents raised cattle and he helped with the chores. The other grandparents taught him how to hunt and fish. Although he was a star athlete in high school, he moved to Nashville after graduation to pursue a music career. He teamed with songwriter-producer Jeremy Stover to record some demos of original songs, which eventually found their way to Alan Jackson’s producer, Keith Stegall. Moore will release his debut album on the Valory Music label in 2008.

STUDIO 330 IN THE MORNING SESSION CUT OF THE DAY: MICHELLE BRANCH
Just three years after Michelle Branch first picked up a guitar at the age of 14, she was signed to Maverick Records with an album in stores. Branch’s debut, The Spirit Room, was produced by John Shanks (Melissa Etheridge, Chris Isaak) and issued in August 2001, spawning the leadoff hit single/video “Everywhere.” Although she lists such classic rock acts as Led Zeppelin, the Beatles, and Jimi Hendrix as prime influences, Branch’s music is more akin to such modern-day female artists as Lisa Loeb, Alanis Morissette, and Melissa Etheridge, something her more mature 2003 album Hotel Paper displayed. In 2005 it was announced that Branch had begun a project with Nashville singer/songwriter Jessica Harp. Originally dubbed the Homewreckers, the duo shortened their name to the Wreckers and released their debut album, Stand Still, Look Pretty, in 2006. ~ Greg Prato, All Music Guide
