FRIDAY IT IS…AND AWAY WE GO!

PINK FLOYD? NOOO! FLAT BROKE!

PINK FLOYD? NOOO! FLAT BROKE!

Getting into the weekend was an interesting proposition today, to say the least.  We looked back to last night, at the Seafood Fest in Mattson Lower Harbor Park and ahead to Football Night in Negaunee.  It was busy and fun and we talked about the giant clam shell in Lower Harbor Park.  See the picture to the left to get an idea about the new Arabesque Tent currently set up in the park.

MORE ABOUT THE TENT.

NIKKE NASON.

NIKKE NASON.

Thanks to Nikke Nason with the City of Marquette Arts & Culture Center for coming in this morning to discuss the Arabesque Tent and other matters, events and activities going on in the local art scene.  She told us about what the tent is all about, how the city was fortunate enough to secure grant funding to make the tent actually happen.  Click “HERE” to listen to Nikke’s interview.

BUSY WEEKEND AHEAD!

And with that little tidbit, I have to get going!  See you all soon!
