Here’s an update from Darcy on her second buck:
What an amazing deer season! Last night, just after 5:30 (last Thursday), I shot another buck. This one is a 10 point. I’m attaching a picture. It’s pretty amazing that one can go years and never kill a buck then kill three in two years.
And if my brother hadn’t talked me into getting the combination license I would’ve probably ended up with a spike horn and been OK with that. I was nervous about having to count points because I’m not a fast shot at all. I thought adding that extra step might make me miss out on a buck altogether. But things worked out and I’m glad I went with the combination license.
